Property Description

Date House is a 10 minute walk from the beach and restaurants at the exclusive Calabash Cove hotel and Spa and a 10 minute drive to the beaches, shopping, restaurants and bars at Rodney Bay.   The villa and its 30' pool are very secluded, sitting in beautifully landscaped tropical gardens with Caribbean sea views and plenty of terraces for relaxing and al-fresco dining. The pool and terraces are well lit at night so continue the fun with cocktails and an evening swim after dark. 

Date House is entered through automatic gates and then up a sweeping drive to the front door. As you enter the front door the breath taking Caribbean sea is before you, through the balcony doors opposite.

The fully fenced tropical gardens contain a large private pool (30ft by 15 ft) with plenty of space to relax on the loungers in the tropical sun. The rest of the landscaped gardens contain tropical flowers, shrubs and fruit trees. Visitors are welcome to enjoy fruits such as mango, lime and golden apple when in season. 

The villa can sleep 7 people comfortably in four air-conditioned bedrooms. The three double bedrooms all have private balconies with sea views.   The master bedroom on the top floor has a panoramic view of the Caribbean sea.

The villa enjoys a spacious living area furnished in the Caribbean style, with an open plan sitting room, adjoining a dining area and large well equipped kitchen with a separate laundry room.   All the living areas are cooled with ceiling fans.

There is a covered and uncovered front patio area for relaxing and al fresco dining, where guests can enjoy the wonderful sea views. There is also a small poolside gazebo for extra protection from the sun and a handy additional bathroom and toilet at pool level.

To enhance the enjoyment of your vacation the house has a housekeeper (Monday to Saturday from 9am to 3pm) who will also cook your meals if required and prepare fabulous local juice from the home grown fruit. The property is also managed by a very experienced local company who can organise airport transfers, self-drive car hire, sightseeing tours, starter food packs and generally make sure your trip is hassle free.

Come and sit round the pool and watch the humming birds on the bougainvillea or look at the boats sailing past in the sunshine - but most importantly relax!!

The house enjoys the additional security of a monitored burglar alarm for peace of mind.

Housekeeper - Monday to Saturday from 9 am - 3 pm.

This property is a non smoking property.  External areas ONLY may be utilised for the smoking of cigarettes / cigars.  Also if any illegal substances are located or found on the property the result will be immediate eviction and charges may be levied against you.

 

Please note check in is at 2 pm and check out is at 12 noon.  Late check outs can be granted upon request, subject to availability, and after paying an applicable fee.

 

All damages and/ or missing items are accountable under the damages contract signed directly with Tropical Villas St. Lucia or with your Tour Operator or Travel Agent.  All charges are to be settled prior to departure.

 

International calls cannot be made from the telephones at the villas, unless a cash deposit or credit card pre-authourisation is made and then these lines can be  opened.  Once this is done, guests are then liable for all international calls made from the telephone line.  This also includes international toll free numbers dialled outside of the country as these DO incur charges locally.

 

No pets are allowed on the property.

 

All bookings are subject to a 25% non refundable deposit required to confirm a reservation and the balance is due 45 days prior to arrival.  For Christmas / New Years bookings,  a 10% supplement is applied to regular high season rate and a 50% Non refundable deposit is required and the balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.  We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover you in the eventuality of a cancellation.

 

Please note that villas are for the exclusive use of resident guests only.  Any extra guests must be pre-advised and pre-arranged through Tropical Villas Management.
